I've gone to Oyama 3 times now. The first two times, I finished dinner wondering what put the staff in such a bad mood. The third time, I experienced the same short responses and impatient service. I thought that the sushi was pretty good, but you definitely pay the premium for it. There are too many sushi options nearby to... More

This review is for the new Oyama in Greenbrae, Cal. Wait staff not trained well. Seating placement not smooth. Dirty menus noticeable stick and oily need to wash your hands before eating.

This is the best sushi place I have ever gone to. It's nice and cozy and the sushi plates we ordered are just gorgeous prepared and presented. The fishes are very fresh and delicious. Everything was great and we had a memorable night here. Thank you!

Fresh, clean and tasty. The service was a little slow (I think our waitperson was new to the job) but the food was excellent.

As my wife and I left Trader Joes parking lot up popped this corner Sushi restaurant and it was nearly 1 PM. This is our first time in this Mt Diablo Blvd eatery easily accessed with parking behind and in the lots across the street. the building sits directly on the corner with nearly floor to ceiling window allowing for... Read a review about The Mt. Diablo Roll so gave it a try. Very yummy. Had that with a side salad and tea and my meal was complete. Seemed reasonable for $13.50.

We've been eating sushi for 25+ years so we're hard graders. This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the area. Be brave -- order "omakase" and let the chef dazzle with you with off the menu dishes; or play it safe and order off the menu -- we've never been disappointed. The only problem (if you can call... Sept 12 First we stopped off at Trader Joe's. Their price for pine nuts is so much cheaper than Costco. I saw Oyama Sushi in the shopping center, and it looked inviting with no parking hassle. We went with my sister-in-law who lives in Moraga and suggested another Japanese resto, but I won out and we settled on Oyama. The... More

Great Sushi Great service! My favorite roll so far is the 49er roll. You can bring the family in because they have big roomy tables.
