The group I was with stopped to get something sweet to take back to the conference and it took 20 minutes to serve 6 of us one by one purchasing a pastry. And when I had the pastry is was not worth the wait. It definitely was a la European style - and not so sweet - but it tastes... More

Lovely patio is so nice for lunch - the indoor restaurant is very nice, too. Selections had something for everyone and our server was an added bonus. He was friendly, charming and had a great sense of humor, too. Thanks Tilo (not sure of the spelling). The sweets looked wonderful but we did not indulge.

Reading the reviews prior to our visit made the place seem spotty on food and service, but our group of ten (small family day-reunion) was quickly seated and our drink orders were just as fast. The lunch we had come for was comfortable and clean, and our orders were fairly large. I had the turkey sandwich and it was considerable... More

Be careful on what you eat there, the restaurante lighting is gloomy maybe because they don't want you to see it....BUT YOU CAN CHOCK ON IT! I found a big piece of plastic stick in my salad and it hurt the inside of my mouth plus I choked on it. Manager Antonio (Tony) was careless, disrespectul and a total jerk... More

The small pastry case and take-away order counter was full of beautiful made-on-the-premises goods. The pastries are eye candy and as tasty as they look. The tarts are buttery and filled with the freshest fruit. Don't miss this place when in Laguna Beach

We slid in for some dessert! I had the lime cheesecake which was awesome. You can tell it's homemade. My hubs has the chocolate mouse roll cake! Topped it off with a Perrier and it was a perfect afternoon sweet snack! The young man working the dessert could get was very helpful and polite!

I wanted to begin my pre-birthday morning sitting on the deck at C'est La Vie with my friends enjoying a cappuccino listening to the waves crashing on the Laguna Beach coast, but the deck was closed and not accessible for my friends wheelchair. I started my day a little disappointed, but then the waiter "Michael" surprised me with a sweet... More

I stopped by with my family after dinner at another place to pick up some pastry to take home. After waiting for less than 5 mins we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman who explained the cakes and sweets selection and I placed an order. He got everything ready and then passed over the bag of sweets and said... More

I chose a table by the street so I could people watch, but there are beach view tables. I had a salad which was dressed well and fresh. I asked for several omissions in the salad which they easily did. Enjoyed a nice lunch. Can be a bit noisy.
