We had lunch here. The place is a gem of a classic unpretentious "family restaurant" with good variety of sandwich and full meal plates. The management and staff obviously care about their work - servers were very courteous and prompt and the manager on duty was very attentive as well. A clean and pleasant experience, very convenient to Long Beach... More

This is the ultimate homemade breakfast spot. Fresh homemade(in- house) Texas bread made fresh daily.. Customer service is top notch. Yes, sometimes you have to wait for seating but it's worth the wait. There is 1st come 1st serve counter seating. Don't miss the experience. Lots of food. Great Prices

I am probably the only person from miles around who isn't a big fan of the Heritage. It is true that the service is excellent, and the portions are beyond generous - they are pretty much lumberjack size servings. It's the food itself that just doesn't impress me. The menu is rather extensive, and I have tried quite a few... More

Visited the second location, and I like it better because there is more parking available than the one on Carson St. Food is still good and a doggy bag is a must.

Like a bag of chocolates, I should stay away from The Heritage, but sadly I can't. Fortunately I only eat there when I need to go to Timmons Subaru for repairs. Also fortunately, my Subaru needs very little attention. Anyway, if The Heritage were close by I would need longer belts and larger pants on a regular basis. The food... More

There is always a line outside of this pantry on the weekends and prime times. We decided to give it a try during the week for breakfast. Then we returned for lunch about a week later. We intend to be regulars. The Heritage Family Pantry is now one of the top 3 of our establishment we frequent regularly.

We went here on a Saturday morning. The food was good, the server friendly, but there was a frenzied atmosphere. They serve far too much food, I can see why their other chain is called Piggies. $3.67 for a small glass of orange juice ! My toast arrived after my meal was half way done. We won't be back.

The Crew and I went there after my son's soccer practice. Really good steaks and ribs and very good service too.

You have many options for breakfast. If you like huge servings, this is the place for you. Both locations are really busy so be prepared to wait on the weekends.

there are 2 Heritage Pantry (s)--one on Carson and one on South street. they are about 1 mile apart so you actually have a choice, if you are driving. We've been going to the one on Carson at least once a month for 10 years. The owners changed hands a couple of years ago. The food is the same (very... More
