Worst service ever. Food was so-so. Has closed since we ate there so that may explain things. If it does't improve will not return if it reopens.

Made reservations after reading the reviews for this restaurant for family get together for my husbands birthday. Reservations were prompt. I was disappointed that this establishment only serves wine and beer. The menu, while it has selections that are not at most other restaurants may or may not be to their benefit. We all found the food was just average... More

In my opinion, this is the best compromise downtown between price and cuisine. Will Owenby and his kitchen turn out an unusual variety of dishes that borrow from Cajun and California Cuisine. The portobello sandwich, jambalaya and wedge salad are my perennial favorites. The selection of Lodi wines is solid. The decor is stylish but not over the top. Great... More

Husband and I went here today for lunch. Service was excellent, waiter was prompt and friendly and menu had a nice variety. I found all of the food to be fresh and well prepared. Wine list slightly limited but had plenty of choices of all varietals. We will definitely be back again.

Went with my hubby for a date night and we had a wonderful meal!! I had the fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. Delicious! The server was super nice and gave us some recommendations on food and wine. He did not rush us at all throughout the meal. He made sure to tell me that the chicken is... More

This was a total gem (except for the noise level, which was horrendously loud...) The food was wonderful - the friend chicken with a pecan/pumpkin seed crust was heavenly, and perfectly cooked, as were the southern greens. Bread pudding was outstanding, and the salads were fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a delightful place - but the acoustics are horrible.... More

A great place to go and eat while visiting Lodi! Our server Wayne was one of the best servers that we have had on our trip. We ate outside and enjoyed every minute.

School Street at night is lively and fun - and one restaurant that's a must-visit is the Bistro. We loved the interior decorating, very capable and friendly service, and our choice of entree. I had the Chicken Suzarac with unbelievably yummy mashed potatoes and sauteed collard greens; my husband had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf (what's not to love?). We definitely plan... More

School Street Bistro is a must when in Lodi. This charming restaurant has; really good food, a nice menu, attractive prices, a good and reasonable wine list, and our service was excellent. We will stop again on our way south.

Thursday evening 40 minutes to get a bowl of soup. Fried asparagus very good. Very disappointing for visitors from out of state.
