Hot and Tot is a place where local families go for breakfast at a decent price. The place is clean, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Tip: If you like your food spicy, ask the staff for salsa.

Have been eating breakfast at Hot n Tot forever (OK, 35 years). Have only had lunch there once. Waitresses are friendly, but I generally seat myself to be served by a cutie waitress; we like to flirt with one another. Biscuits and gravy is one of my big faves and they do it just right. While food is cooking, waitress... More

The Hot N Tot was a special place when I was growing up and finally went back for lunch. We have been to many Diners in our road travels and this has now become a old diner. The inside could really use a face lift and this from someone that likes the older original diners. The place still has a... More

This place is a landmark to the community. Good quality food and a breakfast favorite. It is a classic throwback from the 50's

We hoped we discovered an old fashion greasy spoon flavorful restaurant. Our first visit was a delight. Our next two were not. Always good friendly service. Not always clean, or good food. Too bad as we had high hopes.

Well...I've never written a review quite like this. Because I've never had something quite like this happen. On my way back from exploring San Pedro Ca -the Port of Los Angeles- I drove back on Highway 1 (PCH) cause it's kind of a throwback to the sixties...Lots of older business' still there... I was HUNGRY as HEXX...I saw this great... More

We went to Hot N Tot after mass on Palm Sunday. We were expecting a huge wait. When we got there they told us 20 minutes but it was only about 10 minutes. The place is exactly what you would except from an old time diner complete with counter seating, booths, and tables. Linda took care of us and she... More

Long time neighborhood restor. which has very good food, good service & resonable prices..If you go there one time you will return. There is a Norms right across the street but I always perfer Hot in Tot for better food. Slightly higher prices than Norms but well worth the little extra. The waittresses & staff will treet you like an... More

We walked to breakfast this day and were seated within 10 minutes on a Saturday. Service was prompt and swift. Our food was good and although the omelet wasn't the right one requested, it was good. The whole wheat French toast is always tasty. Portions are very generous. Definite diner feel and very nostalgic.
