I've been going to this restaurant for over 35 years. The pies and other baked goods are the best you'll find any place. Breakfast Is it real treat! You'll enjoy any meal; I've never had a bad one! The service is excellent, as well.
Our friend took us here to celebrate birthday week for brunch today. We waited over an hour but was well worth the wait. I had the Lemon Blueberry pancakes with raspberry sauce. The pancakes were delicious with perfect texture as though it has cornmeal in it. We tasted the Cinnamon French toast with maple syrup. It melted in my mouth... More
This is a classic neighborhood eatery. Having a meal here is like visiting your dearest friend's kitchen. The simple food is beautifully prepared in a kitchen you can walk through if you wish. Navy Bean soup is delicious. Onion rings made to order using tempura batter is unforgettable. The Bacon and Cheddar Burger with Avocado is as memorable as my... More
Flaky crust, fresh chicken, crisp veggies all went in to make their pot pie so good. For dessert I had the German chocolate cake which was pretty good. The place is clean, roomy with booth type seating as well as a few seats at the counter. The staff is friendly and helpful.
You won't get better baked goods anywhere. Period. Do yourself a favour and stop here for a slice of cake or pie on the way through to LAX. You will be cherishing that taste all flight, and redirecting your car there next time you're passing through.
We have been going to this place for years. It is simply awesome! It has been family owned and run forever. The food there is great, the service is great, and the pricing is quite reasonable. It gets really crowded at times, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit. It's well worth the wait! This place... More

Staff is extremely helpful, service is excellent! Seasonal peach pies, strawberry pies are a must! Their red velvet cupcakes are moist and delicious! Because their food is amazing, expect to wait. I always enjoy breakfast or lunch or a snack or really any mean I have at Jongewaard's! The muffins are incredible. The lemon blueberry pancakes are outstanding! You won't be disappointed. It's generally pretty busy, though.
