One of greatest pleasures of going to The Reno Room is this wonderful an drew connected place! The Mexican food--and I try something new each time--is tasty, served fast and priced cheap.

My friend brought me to Coco Renos last year for Taco Tuesday so naturally we had to go again when I came back to Long Beach. There was no searing in the restaurant bit so we sat in the bar. Tacos were great. My margarita was good. Service was fine. Cheap too. Definitely worth repeat visits.

There are only a few Mexican food places I like more as much as, or more than this place that I've tried around the world. It's a small place, so get in early for lunch, or just order take out. The flavors are just right and the meal leaves you feeling satisfied and ready for your next visit.

I was craving Mexican food and my fear was there would be no place to sit. I got lucky. There are only about four tables plus a few counter seats and me my buddy got in. The big pluses for me were that the food was quick. The chips and salsa were homemade. The tacos and enchiladas rocked. The minuses... More

Decent all around Mexican food with some very enjoyable highlights. Highlights include mushroom tacos, and their Coco Reno Salad which has an incredible dressing/sauce.

My friend, who lives in Long Beach, was determined to take me out for real tacos when I was visiting from the UK. Cocorenos is where she goes regularly and they did not disappoint. By far and away the best tacos I've ever had. The margaritas were great. It was quick, clean and good service. Not sure when I'll be... More

My wife and I ducked in here for lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised. We both had the relleno/taco combo and both were great. Also, good rice and beans, whereas these are usually a disappointment. We also had two really good margaritas. And the prices were outstanding. I believe the food was $7.50 each. I have been getting used... More

We travel from AZ several times every year and NEVER miss a chance to go to Coco Reno's. First time we went I had their chile relleno burrito - wet - and I can't not order it every time. T it so delicious I just cannot resist. Giant tortilla filled with refried beans (you have a choice pintos or black... More

We come here a few times a month for lunch, generally Taco Tuesday. It's definitely a cramped little hole-in-the-wall, but in a charming way. You see them cook the food just 10 ft. away on a grill, and it's served so fast that even though you have waitress service, it's like you're at McDonalds. Most importantly, super fresh and authentic... More

As Hemingway would have said if he had tried the Cancun salad at Cocorenos, "You can always count on the Cancun salad at Cocorenos!" My wife and I visit Long Beach 6 times a year, and on arrival usually go directly to Cocorenos. On one occasion, the head cook, Jose, was outside when we drove up, and without waiting for... More
