Emerged from the Metro in need of a coffee and this was the first place I saw. I entered reluctantly as previous experience of CB&TL is they are very slow. However expectations exceeded, served in a flash and although it's an extremely small unit with very few seats, I actually found somewhere to sit. Quick access free wifi a bonus

On my walk to the Convention Center, I stopped in and they had my favorite coffee: Organic Sumatra. Friendly service too!

I like the earl grey tea they have. Bought an entire can of it which earned me a free drink. Got a large iced tea.

Coffee is coffee or so they say but this place will serve you just about any kind of tea or coffee. One thing I can say is that they make REALLY good coffee. I loved it here!

Okay location, got coffee while waiting for bus to arrive, the store is nice and fairly clean, service is personable, friendly. The only drawback, which is not their fault, is that it is in a downtown area and sometimes there are strange people milling about outside the store.

Just like the title says, I find coffee bean to have poor quality coffee, in fact I find better coffee at the ghetto little Famima market right across the street. The coffee is overpriced as well. I will say that the food looks delicious and the store is very cute and clean, but I don't pay for cuteness when I... More

Coffee is not too bad. Ask for one in a mug and take a seat in the shop to enjoy. Free WiFi also. Staff are pleasant and the series is good.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
