We were only in Venice for one night before heading back to New York and we asked one of our friend's who seems to know the best restaurants in LA, where we should go for dinner. She urged us to go to Gjelina's and we...More

I had a lovely evening recently celebrating the birthday of a close friend. The menu is quite eclectic and the hostess was very knowledgeable about it. They also have beer on tap which is always a plus for me. Reservations are hard to get so...More

If you're looking for a hipster cafe with great food and coffee, then Gjelina is it. We visited for breakfast and enjoyed delicious pancakes and eggs. I love me a good pancake and this place had a great selection. The 9 grain pancake was sensational!...More

We went at 5pm and we ask for a pizza and some drafts beers. Everything was awsome. The pizza is delicious and the Pale Ale draft beer is very good. We had to get out at 6:30 pm because the table was reserved. I really...More

We dropped into this spot while walking around Abbot Kinney. The pizza we ordered were burnt around the crust. Ingredients were okay but not the best in terms of quality and quantity. The vegetarian and the lamb pizzas are recommended. Salads were ok. They have...More

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the
epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along
the boardwalk there are street performers and local
craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings,
souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of
visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting
enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders
do their tricks around the skate park. All of it
