The food is DELICIOUS. The Cocktails are FABULOUS. The waitstaff is GORGEOUS. I recommend the pastas and the cream puffs. But really everything was tasty. What a great spot!

Think of many NYC hot spots without too much pretentious attitudes. You'll enjoy the menu - creative pasta dishes. Best of all is great service! Make reservations far in advance.

Our kids took us to dinner here. I believe that reservations are required, especially for the 3 course tasting. Our waiter was great in explaining how the tasting worked. We gave a few things that we didn't like and he relayed that to the chef. The bartender customized our cocktails and 3 out of the 4 were great. Each course... More

I arrived for an early dinner with some friends, and none of us had been here before. I chose this place based on positive recommendations from others who have eaten here. After perusing the menu, and a brief intro from the waiter, we intrepidly decided to go with the $75 3-course tasting. We had no idea what to expect, and... More

Went there for dinner early and as the meal progressed, it got busier. It's a great place to go with a group and share food. I would recommend the branzino and bolognese. Some other dishes were so so like the gateau basque dessert.

My Mother, Sister and I had dinner here one evening. The experience started well, we were warmly greeted and brought to our table. The Maître d was initially quite friendly. However, when It came to take our drinks order and we ordered only soft drinks his tone changed entirely. He seemed annoyed that we had not ordered cocktails or wine.... More

We've been experiencing some pretty poor service in LA, from taxi drivers to inattentive bar staff at rooftop bars. Tasting kitchen was a pleasant change, the hostess greeted us with a friendly smile and our main server was very amicable. A couple of other servers were bit more sullen, figure it might just be an LA thing u have to... More

Food so great. Interesting. Captivating. Varied. Beautifully presented. Still our server managed to overshadow it with such perfectly warm friendly fun attention. Outstanding. Saturday night at the shared table. You know who you are...😊 back tonight

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
