Pizza was on a pre-made base that was kind of biscuit. Chips looked like they'd seen better days. Caesar salad was okay. In future I'd look else where and not go in because it looked busy

We have a lunch at this place. It is very close to the ocean. Food was amazing and staff very friendly. Perfect place for a lunch.

Very cute restaurant near the beach with lots of potential. However, my view of the beach was obstructed throughout the entire lunch by the waitstaff constantly messing with the hostess. The male servers were all over the hostess, to the point it even made me uncomfortable. The food was average. The chicken in my salad looked and tasted like it... More

Where we rented owner suggested Terrace. Though atmosphere was charming, the food not so much. Drinks were as expected, Beers and cocktails, but food, ordered 2 xkain dishes and kids burger and kids spaghetti marinara. Burger arrived plain, no veggies, just on a bun. Had to wait to ask for ketchup and mustard. Chicken tasted as if it was cooked... More

We called in an order to go and they couldn't have been more helpful. The food was good and I am sure it would have been better had we eaten there. The owner did throw in an extra order of fries and a few free sodas. Although there was no carbonation in the drinks so we ended up throwing them... More

Arrived in from Hawaii and fancied a quick pint and meal. Loved the Venice Beach Beer Co amber ale. Ordered Greek salad to share and they served it on two plates. We then had pizza and snapper curry mains with merlot wine. Great service and exceptionally fast free wifi.

The sign said Worlds Best Calimari We've had calimari many times in many places around the world.. guess what? It WAS the best calimari we've had in the world! Melt in your mouth, tempura battered with two sauces - had to fight over the last one. And Dolf Lungren sat beside us, so a little Hollywood to boot Service was... More

This restaurant doesn't seem to know what it is...décor and menu don't match. Service was OK, not bad, food was OK, not bad....There is a separate bar which was very noisy when we were there and a bar next door with live music which was also very noisy. A mish mash of a place - oh and a place where... More

We stopped in here as a group of 17, and the staff were very accommodating in setting up an area for us all to sit together. Friendly wait staff. Food was good, setting (where we sat) was great.

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
