Gladstones is always an experience. It's So Cal so be prepared for it. Paid parking or valet- your choice. Attire is also your choice and you'll see a variety. This place has been serving up food and drinks at the beach for about 40 years. Our two orders of Fish-N-Chips and two Bloody Marys were $76.00. The food and service... More

Looking for the Best Seafood/Restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway, look no further than GLADSTONES! A frequent patron of Gladstones for the past 30 years, I can honestly say the food exquisite! Indoor seating right on the sand, and if you like to dine outdoors, that is also available, with Moonlight views of the ocean steps away, and heating lanterns to... More

Visited Gladstones for a birthday celebration dinner and was not disappointed! We started with Artichoke and Spinach dip which was fantastic (Warm bread and butter was also brought out to start). We then had a few sushi selections brought out, and I had ordered the fish tacos. Serving size was large and the food was delicious! They also had two... More

I have eaten at Gladstone's for years but it has gone downhill. Still a killer location but too crowded and too overpriced. Noisy and often rude. Not worth it when there are nicer places on the beach with equally great views, better food and more care for the customers.

Date Night, a Valentines Treat? Beautiful evening drinks overlooking the ocean til the gorgeous sun had set. Went inside with ocean views and had a wonderful Meal. Best creamy Clam Chowder ever with homemade huge hot bread for cutting. Yummy! Great service. Very special evening.

Great food, helpful staff and wonderful atmosphere to have lunch and watch the surfers try and take a wave.

We met family for brunch on a recent rainy Sunday. We had the breakfast sandwich (awesome) and other great selections. The view was amazing (right on the beach). We will come back again for sure. We had a booth right by the window.

When your best tasting item is the sourdough bread you are in trouble. I have been to Gladstones numerous times to watch a football game or take out of towners for the food. The place is right on the water and the service it great. Just know you are not going there for the food.

The clam chowder & Maryland crab cakes are on point with the exception of portion size. We had a wedge salad & fish tacos also which was only pretty good. The real experience is to get a window seat and watch the waves roll in. Parking in their lot is currently $9

Visited for lunch on the way to Getty Villa. The parking was expensive to start. Decor of the restaurant is nautical and the view is actually very good - be sure to book a seat near the window. The bad points are the waitstaff and food. The staff werd all men. It was like a college frathouse, they were very... More

In a world where landmarks are few and far between there is Gladstone's. Situated where Sunset Boulevard meets the Pacific Coast Highway, it's become a place of Southern California legend. One visit and you'll see why. Gladstones offers a menu plucked from the very ocean it overlooks, serving modern renditions of classic dishes as well as favorites from the land. In its typically relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're at the raw bar, the lounge, the dining rooms or the grand patio overlooking the surf, it's commonly agreed there's no better place on the coast to enjoy fresh seafood, a Mai Tai or the most beautiful sunset views in SoCal. Book a reservation by phone or web or stop by and enjoy the experience.
