We visited late on a Saturday night slightly parched and wanted a beer before hitting the sack. Lively place with a great band playing. Good selection of beer.

The usually bustling Casey's Irish bar was a little bit too bustling tonight - there were some gentlemen who were involved in fisticuffs in the bar that spilled out onto the street above. Another example of downtown LA being a bit rough on an evening.

I was walking around LA looking for a place to eat on a Sunday afternoon, and came upon this place. I was thirsty, they had cold beer, I was hungry, they had wings. The place probably not the cleanest place in town, but it served its purpose.

I went here with my dad after recently moving to the area for a job. They do not have much of a food selection with probably only about 6 items to choose from for a meal but I thought it was a pretty cool place. They had some arcade games and a very good selection of beers. I would recommend... More

I've been going to caseys now for 10 years while I've been visiting LA. Its a great underground bar with some outdoor space. The bartender was friendly. The drinks were good, the beer choice decent, and in keeping with an Irish pub. I had the Guinness stew, which was good, although I want to try the bangers and mash next... More

If you want a filthy, shoes stick to the floor, have to go to the bar to order food and drinks, dark, smokey place to play ping pong, this is your nirvana. Unfortunately, it isn't mine. I'd eat out of the hotel's vending machine before going here.

This is a spot to go to NOT feel like you are in downtown LA. Very relaxed in an Irish pub kind-a-way. Fuss ball, billiards, darts, etc. with every Guinness libation known to mankind. An outside area compliments a spacious floor plan which helps to keep this down town LA pub from seeming crowded. Service and prices are typical for... More

Attended a small event with Co workers and had a great time. Service was a little slow but the food and drink was good. I would definitely go back.

My wife and I found this place while walking around the downtown area and are we glad we stopped to enjoy. They were getting ready to start a trivia contest for the patrons to participate in and receive prizes. We didn't officially participate but had fun trying to figure out the answers which involved seven levels and with about 6-8... More

This is a great bar. It has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. We were staying just up the road and went here when waiting for the rest of our group to get ready in the evenings. There is a juke box and ping pong table, and a lovely outdoor courtyard, as well as a large indoor area... More

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
