At first I was a little concerned about the service because first you have to order and pay and then you can find a place to sit. But the staff is working very fast and they have a lot of space so after couple of minutes we were waiting for food. Great design, awesome location and food....looks and tastes great.... More
A local from LA invited me out to brunch at this cafe on a Saturday and it was packed. It's close to the Arts District in Downtown LA so it is a good starting point if you're looking to walk around (towards Little Tokyo, El Pueblo, etc.). I had the poached eggs with parma ham on toast as well as... More
Always a line for taking your order. Spinach omelette panini, an Americano plus Waffles with strawberries, it is a sure bet. Terrace is nice, crowded but with ambiance. If you are in downtown LA and have time for a breakfast with no hurries, Saturday or Sunday do not hesitate, this is the place.
Good food, great romantic atmosphere. Plenary of space to sit outside, and valet parking across the street. Try the Mediterranean falafel dish with incredible cold wild rice with mango. For desert, try the sweet potato pie! Perfect place to take. Date, take a stroll before or after around the Art District.
My daughter and I love Urth cafe. They have several locations. The food is always excellent. Casual and very popular. You may have to wait for a table.

The place is somewhat small inside and offers outside dining as well, but it is more popular than it can accommodate. I had one of the salads and it was very good, as was... More
This spot is always busy, got plenty of locals, city workers, police and tourists stopping in. Great food that challenges your palate. The coffee is all organic, fair-trade certified and tastes amazing. Parking is challenging if you get there after 8am, its a little better on weekends, but don't wait!
Very busy cafe with a large range of delicious food I had omelette and a coffee - both were spot on If you are just getting a coffee to go then the edit maybe an issue Venue has a cool vibe and it's easy to relax and enjoy the food
This is a mostly vegetarian, California-hip, "healthy" restaurant with unspeakably sinful dessert options that will completely neutralize any health benefits you might have gained from chowing down on a salad main course, whole-grain bread and organic, fair-trade coffee (oh, pleeease...) The food, including the heart-attack desserts, is uniformly fresh and tasty and the service is ruthlessly efficient. They've found a... More
