I was so excited to dine at this place and I really, really wanted to love it. I saw it when driving by and it had such a fabulous vintage look. I immediately looked it up and started researching it by reading reviews. It sounded...More

We have been going for years and go to some of their holiday events. They have a great weekend brunch, excellent selection of dinners, great appetizers and deserts. They also have a carvery for sandwiches for a quick lunch.

Fun as usual, The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. Unfortunately, the server we had was running like crazy from the pub area, where we sat, to the main dining room to assist customers. It took a crazy amount of time to place our order....More

This restaurant serves up great food in a frozen-in-time space that is truly unique. Legend has it that Walt Disney took inspiration from the design of this restaurant, and when you walk into the main dining room you immediately see that. I thought "This looks...More

Are there gluten free (wheat free) items on you menus? I will be part of a small group of friends who will be gathering at Tam O'Shanter, and I think I may not be able to eat anything (can I bring in my own stuff)? I would like to know if the Prime rib has a dry rub that would aggravate my allergy to wheat, garbanzo and fava beans (like falafel). I am also allergic to red sauces, like pizza or lasagne sauces (like catsup or shrimp cocktail sauce). So what's left that I can eat? Thanks!

As JulieMack said, no dry rub on thr amazing prime rib. I would doubt that the potatoes have any gluten added and you'd need to ask your server about the creamed spinach and corn. You would have to skip the Yorkshire... More

Delighting diners for 90 years, the Tam O'Shanter is Los Angeles' oldest restaurant operated by the same family in the same location. Enjoy good cheer, warm hospitality and exceptional food in a cozy old world atmosphere. If you have some Scottish ancestry, you might even find your family tartan among the extensive collection decorating the walls!
