Its been a few years since we had visited the Ivy, but as usual we have a great evening. The food is of the usual great standard, and we had som excellent wines and impecceable service. Knowing that you sometimse may get the main course far before you have finished the appetizer at popular US restaurants (we are European) ,... More

It was our first time to this restaurant after hearing great reviews about it! It was such a wonderfully special and romantic restaurant. Most of the dinners were enjoying the patio and adjacent rooms so my husband and I had a private dinner next to the cozy fireplace. Our server Walter gave us fantastic recommendations for dinner and wine and... More

We had a lovely family meal here for dinner on our first night in LA. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is top-notch. The food was very good, although not inexpensive. If you want to splurge on a LA tradition, this is a great place to do it!

The restaurant is very charming, flowers everywhere, waiters that look smart in their white uniforms. Food was pricy but quite nice. We were rushed but there were lots of customers waiting, so understandable. We enjoyed our meal. The sad part was when we paid the tab, the waiter looked at the tip and asked if this is all we are... Everybody recommends this restaurant even locals so i wanted to try it. I booked online and when you go there they welcome you with a drink and after you take a seat which is very nice. The atmosphere is like being in another century in an italian old house full of flowers and people enjoying their food. The menu has... More

The Ivy is a short taxi ride away from the Hollywood strip. It is a smart but informal restauraunt . We were welcomed with "champagne" or a non alcohol cocktail while we were waiting for teh table to be ready. Food is OK - not Michelin starred but perfectly adequate for a occasion. The Desserts by the way are to... More

Service and food are really impeccable. The price is also sky high unless you are used to paying that much.Typical lunch was $50 w/o alcohol. They made an accommodation for the children but thesis an adult place.

Recent Treatment of seated united man dragged through the aisle reminds me of our visit to The Ivy. Worst rude host I have ever encountered. Told our entire table needed to order full meals. We had booked table in advance for one hour and informed restaurant it was only for pre dinner drinks and snacks and this was approved and... More

There once was a restaurant in NYC called Mama Leone's, which for some reason all the tourists flocked to but not the locals. This restaurant IVY sits at a great location on Robertson Blvd., with great ambience, and an occasional chance to catch Hollywood stars. Food, the bill, and the service, however is very disappointing.
