Pann's opened in 1958 and has been serving good food at fair prices every since. Reminiscent of the 'good old days' this is what a diner used to look like. The portions are huge, the staff is friendly and parking is free. NOTE... If you saw the movie "Pulp Fiction", the scene where John Travolta and Samuel Jackson were have... More

Have driven by Pann's for years (40+) and had to stop for an omelette and chicken wings and waffles! Wings were fried just right, not to greasy, and just moist enough with an perfect waffle. The Louisiana Omellete with full of mushrooms and sausage and after adding Tabasco, just spicy enough!

Wanted to experience this diner as it was built in the 1950's. Wanted a diner breakfast. Went on a Sunday morning. It is a neighborhood diner with the neighborhood clientele. So, that said, the service was darn good! From the hostess, to the person who took the order for our drinks and then food, the servers and they checked on... More

Pann's is a great place for breakfast and to have a feel of the 60's atmosphere. Had the fried chicken and waffle! A must try after a long flight or on your way to LAX.

We were visiting LA for a week and just happened to pass by the Great American Classic Restaurant. We stopped for lunch. The decor is Retro All American with seating at the counter, classic old style booth dining, and old time music. They have been serving food since I believe 1958. It is a family owned restaurant. The atmosphere is... More

I like pann's. The family has been going since it opened after Dinah's. It's sad that it is only open from 7-3PM.

The place is very classic Americana, great oldies soundtrack and good food. We had typical pancakes/waffles, eggs and sausages, plus the best root beer floats we've ever had. Wonderful service with super friendly people. Very reminiscent of a certain Pulp Fiction scene..

We came here for dinner while attending CatConLA. The atmosphere was really cool, old school, but the food... well, left a lot to be desired. Rather like cafeteria food.

We headed to Pann's for brunch and we weren't disappointed. This is a classic LA diner, which booths and sitting at the counter. Between us we had the hash browns, fried chicken and waffles and southern fried pork chops, amongst other things. Everything was very tasty and the service was friendly. If you are in the area definitely check out... More

The servers are super efficient (and some are actually pretty nice), the crowds are diverse, the menu is expansive, the counter is always hoppin', and the decor is mid century almost-modern. This is what makes Pann's a classic LA diner. It's nearly impossible to try everything on the huge menu, but there are gems. Try the wings & waffles--- perfect.... More
