On June 6, 2015 we had a delightful dinner at Brandywine. Sam S and his wife were a half hour late. Chris, the owner was his usual friendly self. Sam ordered the wine. The first bottle of wine Sam tasted he did not like so...More

Chris the proprietor greets you warmly and makes you feel special. The food is awesome. The menu is on a blackboard which changes seasonally. Don't miss the peppered steak or the veal. I go there frequently for business, pleasure and am certain that there isn't...More

Really top notch French restaurant. Surprisingly large number of menu choices for a fairly small facility. All dishes we ordered were superbly cooked and well presented. I had the best veal chop I ever had. A bit pricey but worth it.

Have wanted to visit this place for several years since various friends have recommended it. So when an anniversary came along we decided to try it. The first thing to be aware of is that even with a Ventura address you need to go to...More

The worst experience I have had in any French restaurant. The owner/waiter is rude and arrogant. He hovers over your table and with his loud crewed accent which no one can understand, tries to explains the menu. It would be better if he just left...More

it was a reunion of sorts, dinner with a friend I had not seen in a year. We were given a private table in a tiny restaurant, and the food! My scallops were silky and rich. My friend ordered a filet. Unlike steak houses, an...More

The food was good, portions were large, good selection of wine, service was good, atmosphere practically nonexistent. For an upscale restaurant charging prices to match, I expect an updated decor. The ancient window curtains just did not do it for us. For the same money...More

I was surprised at any negative review about this restaurant! Yes it is small, but that is the charm of the place. The decor has an authentic and romantic feel to it. The owner is charismatic and full of energy. In the 15+ years that...More

How many language classes did it take for Chris to learn his fabulous & realistic Greek accent, when he was born in the Bronx with a typical New York dialect???
