We went in a group of eight for a friend's birthday (I should point out that we are a very diverse group of races: White, Black, Latino and Asian). We were seated by a very friendly and gracious server. The caipirinhas we ordered tasted nothing like those we've had in Brazil (very disappointing). I then selected and ordered a bottle... More

I really had high hopes for this place and had a serious taste for some good Italian food. We didn't get it here. My friend's pasta was just OK but the Chicken Parmigiano was arguably the worst I have ever had. The chicken breast was pounded really thin, the sauce was tasteless and it appeared that they ran out of... More

Looks like it has been around a while based on the memorabilia on the walls but the menu is anything but stodgy. Carpaccio, fried ravioli, veal Marsala, rib eye, all excellent. Waitstaff quite attentive and gracious. Excellent bar and wine list. Worth the trip!

My meal was amazing. This was a stop in after we flew in our daughter suggested this place, a friend had told her about it. Yum, my meal was amazing, not sure what else to say.

Stumbled upon Michelangelo's while driving in the area while visiting friends in LA. It was late but looked reasonably busy from the street so we gave it a try. Glad we did. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was good; much better than I expected from the street. Overall, a very good experience.

We were visiting in the adjacent neighborhood and stumbled in here for lunch on a Friday. They have two fixed price lunch menus and we ordered 4 different items. The food artistry was impressive, salads lightly dressed, soup homemade and served piping hot, pasta from scratch...again with very fresh sauces. Can't say enough about the high quality of the food... More

While the service is slow here, the wait staff is friendly and very knowledgable. They are happy to describe the ingredients of a dish and make dietary changes needed. There is a nice variety of Italian dishes but also several fish entrees. The cocktails are quite good. Feels homey and comfortable.

This is a cozy, popular place. The service is very good and the food is pretty good too. It's not fancy, but it's tasty. We had a nice time - it seems like a family-run place and we'd go back.

we booked a table at 8PM, the indoor dining room was almost empty, no one was at the desk to welcome guests and we had to wait 10 min before someone came in to take us to a table. we have ordered right away, the waiter has been very nice to my son and recommended pasta based on his taste.... More
