We had to wait for about 30 minutes at 8 am on a Saturday, but it was well worth it. You get to see a historic site open non-stop for 90 years, with a nice vintage atmosphere. But the food is really good. Simple and...More

When you walk into the Pantry, you need to be hungry! If you walk out of the Pantry and you are still hungry, it is your fault. If there is a line, do wait. Don't Google anywhere else. You are at the right place. Also,...More

I decided to try this 24 hour cafe prior to my flight. It is an easy 2 block walk from the LA Live area. From reading other reviews, I knew a wait outside was in order. It took about 35 minutes and was seated at...More

My best friend and I went for dinner the other night but we really wanted breakfast food. We assumed they would have a bigger selection of breakfast foods, but their menu is actually pretty small. You also have to get up to go look at...More

My Uber driver told me I had to try this place and that it was the oldest restaurant in LA, so I just had to try it. It is not only centrally located in Downtown LA, but also serves the best pancakes I have ever...More

The place was packed when we went in but service was prompt and food was delivered fairly quick. Portions are big and coffee was good. Loved the vibe!

This was a family favorite after Sunday mass as I was growing up. I recall standing in line outside for a long time, but the good stuff is worth the wait. Now, when I'm in town, I try and stop by and still enjoy their...More

We were staying nearby and noticed a line everyday out the door. We decided to try it for dinner and were not disappointed. The pancakes and french toast were amazing. Have a limited breakfast menu after lunch and only take cash.

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants

If you ask the gluten free question, this place is not for you. Only one in 2,000 people actually has a possible issue with glutens.. The Pantry is not about health food.
