A tour guide recommended Miceli's a a Hollywood landmark. That is was, but the service just rated OK and the food at best was poor and expensive. I would not recommend this place.

Located on a side road off Hollywood Blvd, this hidden gem serves delicious Italian food. I ordered the lasagna which was over-ample in size. The only less-than-perfect part of the meal was the waiter's lack of attention. He was quite elderly and moved slowly. We felt so sorry for him that we didn't even ask for refills of our water... My wife and I headed to this restaurant after a long day of shopping. The food was delicious, with huge portions. The restaurant had live entertainment and was a fantastic end to what was a hectic day. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful restaurant that dates back to 1949 - it's always crowded for a reason, it's good. Classic older setting with fresh options that make it a worthy place. For those within the Hollywood Blvd area - this is a classic must.

Walking into this restaurant in the middle of crazy Hollywood just takes you back instantly in time and the ambiance will relax you. There are Chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling, and a slightly out of tune piano being played by an exuberant pianist. The servers sang with the pianist throughout our meal. We all enjoyed our traditional Italian meals,... More

Who doesn't love Italian food, amazing singers and a tasty house chianti in an old Italian setting. Try not to fill up on the garlic bread because your main dish whatever it may be, will excite most your tastes buds. If your looking for a romantic place for a first date that you won't forget or a location for a... More

First time visitors, what a great family dinner and singing. We ordered family style and all was good. The singing was wonderful even a birthday song for us!!!!The decor was original and the folks were very friendly. Street parking was easy, right off the 101. We can not wait to go back. The kids loved it as well. Took food home.

Visited tonight with friends 6 in the party. I was expecting a much better experience. Great on arrival but we ordered starters and before they were finished the waiter arrived with our main course! Food was average and the tip was written on our receipt when we received it? I know tips are coustomry in US but it's a bit... More

I’m such a creature of habit. An avid student of old-time Hollywood, there are a couple of places I try to visit whenever I’m in town and Miceli’s is one of them. It’s been around since the late 1940s and some of the furniture even earlier – the ornately-carved wooden booths came from the Pig N’Whistle, that opened at the... More

Our hotel staff recommended this restaurant to us. We are SO glad they did. The food was GREAT! We had manicotti and fettuccine alfredo.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
