Spacious cafeteria seating area! There are a lot of diverse food options (American, Mexican, Vietnamese, and more) with lots of options for vegans and vegetarians. There is a coffee and dessert station (the coffee was excellent!). They have hot food options and cold/ready-made options (salads,...sandwiches, etc). The drink station is where you can get free water, but it is not well-demarcated and I had to go back into the cafeteria to get water for the table. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Great place for lunch to re-energize and refresh between exhibits!More

This place as I mentioned in my review of the Getty Center is what I would expect for a place like this- around $20 a person for counter service food. Lots of salads, make your own sandwiches, comfort food and burgers and hot dogs and...chicken tenders for more mainstream options. We tried the salads with quinoa (lacking flavor), regular green salad (plenty to eat), turkey sandwich (ok), burger with mashed potatoes and green beans (decent). This place does get busy but I find the service to be quick. You will bus your own plates when you are done.More

I have been eating at the The Cafe about once yearly for a while. They used to have wonderful salads and delicious food. I was quite disappointed in the food there this week. I got the Chinese Chicken Salad which costs almost $20 with tax...and it was tasteless. And the dressing was also tasteless. My friend got the same salad and agreed that the food here has really gone downhill. Oh well.More

I paid over 12 dollars for a cup of soup and ice tea. The beef and cabbage soup was good. Ice tea (one refill allowed) brewed. My husband got the pizza and stated it was not so good.

Very good choice of food including Asian dishes and American lunch items and plenty of seats inside, some with a nice view of the outside.

A large bright space looking onto the outside was perfect for lunch. A comprehensive selection of dishes and drinks was on offer. Moving along the counters we made our selections and enjoyed the pleasant ambiance.

I liked the food and the prices were good. Consider it if you are the Getty center and you are hungry.

Got to the Getty Center in the early afternoon directly from the Villa. Looked around for a place to unwind after the traffic en route, have a cold drink and something light to eat. Discovered the cafe and restaurant were both closing at 2:30-3:00 even...though the museum was open till 5:30. Luckily there are "coffee carts" strategically located and we sat down the shade near one in the main courtyard. These kiosks provide a satisfactory option to the above-mentioned eateries, deserve due credit and ought to be more clearly publicized. In any event, this cart fulfilled our needs.More

Large dinning area, surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows, breath taking view of Los Angeles, food is ok. A lady in front of me patiently waiting to get her fries while the cook throwing things around - first slipped a plate to the counter,...a customer help to hand back, no thank you, no eye contact, then he picked up the plate and tossed to presumedly a container under the counter that made a loud noise, he didn’t seem to notice, and then made his way to make a burger. That was a good 5 minutes before another cook/server from next station came and served the lady French fries she was waiting for.More

Clean, fast, lots of options, but the food wasn't very good at all. The Getty center is a great museum, but I'd advise either eating before going there or maybe trying the full-service Restaurant there. I assume it is better but have not tried it...yet.More

The lunch options at the Getty Centre are not great, but for a reasonable choice at a reasonable price try the Cafe at the Getty Centre. There is plenty of choice alle a bit pricey but if you take time and consider the wide choices...you will find a good option. We both went for the Mexican line and have the Assada rubbed Tofu Salad with all the options. It was a generous plate including gaucame, rice and beans doth salad etc and was just the job today.More

6pm is what I recall seeing on the cafe sign. 9pm may be for the restaurant.
