Du-pars is nostalgic of old Hollywood; a classy 50s-60s looking place with comfortable booths and GREAT service. But the star is the FOOD! I'm pushing eighty and from the Midwest, so I know about good food! The pancakes are incredibly good, and very generous in size. The bacon is the best I've had in decades, and the omelets are large... More

I will be honest. the ONLY reason we stopped here is because a lot of movie scenes from "Valley Girl" were shot here. the décor has changed quite a bit since then but the outside looks the same as it did in the movies. i didn't have too high of expectations based on previous reviews. however i was pleasantly surprised.... Old fashioned Diner with mouthwatering pies on display as you walk in. You're thinking which our can I take home??? However, after ordering pancakes and corn-beef hash and sides, our bellies was so satisfied...we did not leave with a pie! The pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious. The corn beef was just average. Hash brown was crispier on our previous... More

We stopped here by accident. As soon as I walked in and saw the bakery goods, great. We were hungry. This was the best place as they serve breakfast, hash browns were terrific. I had a Breakfast and a muffin plus an omelet Everything was great and friendly. It has been around since the 1950s

These folks are still serving the pancake recipe from the 1930s and while somewhat updated on the menu this is old school. The waitress uniforms also look like you would expect from decades ago. For all American food with typical old school flair go here. But if you want something special this is not the place

I went for lunch with a friend who recommended the place. He had breakfast for lunch and was happy. I had a salad and I have to say it took me days to recover. To be fair, the service was fine and the restaurant appeared clean. All I can tell you is that I'll steer clear on my next visit... More

I have been going here for the Best Pancakes for over 30 years! They rock pancakes and they been doing their butter infused ones forever! Get the short stake they will fill you up! You get hot butter on top of them also with hot maple syrup and yes a patty of sausage. Yes the sausage is expensive but it... More

Great place for breky especially if you love pancakes! You could easily split a full stack as they're as big as the plate. Yummy, fluffy, warm syrup and melted butter!! If you're in the mood to splurge get the pancakes! The eggs and bacon are good too, order them anyway you want. The coffee is eh, but it's an old... More

Du-par's may no longer be the 'in place' to eat but good old fashioned service with well cooked food makes it well worth a visit. Okay, it's not trendy but you'd be hard pressed to find better value for money
