I have been to Thailand many times and love the food. When I'm not in Thailand but in LA (Studio City) and want excellent Thai food, which is everytime I'm in LA, I go to Talesai. Excellent food, wonderful service, and the owner Chai is a charming and gracious host who gives you an incredible dining experience! Must try the... More

I went here a few nights ago with my wife and two friends. We arrived quite late and the place was empty but I put that down to it being almost closing time and MLK day so probably a quiet time anyway. They waitress sat us down with a warm welcome rather than being pissed off that we showed up... More

Well kept, clean and great food and service. Try the chicken larb, bbq chicken authentic Thai style, garlic and pepper ribs and especially their curries. The red or green curry with shrimp might have you jumping up and down.

If you dream of eating healthy, delicious Thai food in a restaurant where you can actually have a conversation your friends can hear....this is the place. Rarely crowded (they do a major take-out business), but always pleasant, good food, cordial service. The original martini drinks are wonderful, the "hidden treasures" is filled with flavor, great crab cakes, curries, larb, etc.... More

While we have another favorite Thai restaurant in the area, we wanted to try this restaurant. After all, they have been there for 20 years, so they must be doing something right. The restaurant is very modern, sleek, and a little stark. That right there makes it different from most Thai restaurans. Typical Thai dishes, great flavors, very nice presentation.... More

One of my favorite places to eat in LA -- stumbled across this place when looking for something else and I go back every chance I get -- the heavenly duck is aptly named, the service has always been exemplary, the selection fantastic, and the dishes prepared with care and flair. Excellent ambience, beautiful surroundings and staff, a great martini... More

Avoid this place like a plague and if you do go, check your bill carefully. The food there is barely passable for anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine...very little flavor, tiny portions and extremely slow and rude service. They seem to routinely overcharge people and make huge fusses when you point it out to them. But the worst thing is gas... More
