We ordered delivery thru one of the online delivery services. Had boiled dumplings, garlic chicken, moo shu pork and some sort of spicy beef. All was good for our normal Sunday night Chinese and we are happy to have food a decent Chinese restaurant nearby.

This is probably the closest place for Chinese food near UCLA. It's a pretty reasonable place for food and the interior is quite unique. I do recommend going with friends though, because it makes the experience much more enjoyable and because the portions are sort of big. Unless you want leftovers for a while, then it would be worth it... More

When I dont want to cook, First Szechuan is a standby. Food is consistent, delivery staff efficient. Food is always tasty and well prepared. No, it is not trendy but solid. Prefer delivery to dine in as parking is a bear.

The food is inexpensive, was delivered quickly and was still warm. The portion was huge. It was good, but nothing special

Was in town for a quick trip and needed to get something close to the hotel. Seated promptly. Only one waiter but he was efficient. The soup was on the house. Crispy prawns were tasty and actually crispy. About 18-20 on the plate.

So the take out is ready in 15 minutes! I love egg foo young and they have it. That makes them win many points with me. Heavy or light sauces, they have what anyone wants from Chinese. Did I mention how fast the food is ready? Believe it.

I had dinner in this diner during a recent visit to UCLA. I love the Szechuan hot food and I cook some of it myself, using the excellent book by Fucsia Dunlop. So I went in hoping for the genuine hot Szechuan experience. I had a medium-hot soup and a mixed dish with shrimps, beef and chicken. Neither was high... More

The waiters are rushing even though there are only 3-4 clients in the restaurant. The waiters don't explain anything about the food. They ask, what options I want for my meal, but at the end bring something else that I didn't ask for. Also, I found a hair in my plate. I wouldn't advise this place for any occasion.

We were staying at the W hotel, and needed some place to eat quickly. While not the best chinese food we've had, it was very good. The service was fast, excellent and friendly - and at a modest price. We will definitely return.

We have ordered here twice. The delivery is very fast. The portion are large. The food is pretty much what I am used to in Chinese Food so hard to describe. It hits the spot.
