I haven't been to a Roy's in years and was delighted to see sushi and cod/buttefish with miso glaze included now as gluten free options. The fish melted in our mouth and the sushi was fresh and tasty. The service was exceptional. My only complaint is that $40, I thought the fish portion was too small and it was accompanied... More

I've been going to around for over 6 years and they never disappoint. The prices have increased but if that's not a problem for you the food and service are excellent.

We go to Roy's every year for my birthday (and 2-3 additional times a year) and it never disappoints!! The Misoyaki Butterfish is awesome and my favorite, so is the Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Coconut Ice. We also usually get the appetizer boat for two (and share among the 3 of us), there truly isn't a bad thing on... More

We enjoy coming here for happy hour as dinner. The bar is relatively small, so is may be full at high-demand times, but we have rarely had any trouble getting seated. There is always a nice selection of drinks and appetizers. Sharing two or three appetizers fills us up, and it's less expensive than having a regular dinner. The service... More

i usually go to Roy's for special occasions (4-5 times per year) with my wife and have usually enjoyed it but i made the mistake of going on Valentines Day and was very disappointed. Despite reservations they provide an undesirable table location and refused to change it. My lobster was cold and missing a claw, my filet was also cold... More

Celebrated an anniversary here. Since Roy sold out, this chain has continually headed downhill but the prices haven't. César salad was small and tasteless. The dressing lacked any flavor. Had the aha tuna. Mediocre. We've eaten at several in the Hawaiian Islands, the one in NYC that used to be there, the one in Palm Desert, the one in Newport... More

We enjoy having dinner here on special occasions. If you're in the mood for a lot of foodl, the prix fixe dinners are a good deal.. What we are more likely to do is arrive during happy hour, sit in the bar, and share a couple of appetizers. That is plenty of food for us. This time we had the... More

For a chain restaurant, Roy's always gives the impression that it is a one outlet, stand alone, innovative fusion, cuisine restaurant. This was our first visit in about 2 years since before the Topanga Village opened across the street, and it did not disappoint. The menu is as simple as it is innovative. The service was attentive and friendly. New... More

We had some gift cards we needed to use. We have not been to Roy's for a couple of years. The last time we went, the food was terrible. We had low expectations for today but were surprise that the food has taste this time. We had the prix fixed meal - appetizers, main and dessert. For appetizers, we had... More

After having a wonderful experience at Roy's restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii, we wanted to re-live that experience closer to home. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in more ways than one. I'd like to start with the positives of our experience. We started our evening by having drinks in the bar. The bartender was attentive and the drinks were fantastic! Loved Roy's... More
