Le Bernardin used to be my favorite restaurant because it was so unique in the food selections and preparation. Providence experience was unbelievable. We had the seven course tasting and it was amazing!!! The food was excellent and the presentation was something to experience.

Went because of the high ratings on TripAdviser. Thanks to others for rating it so highly. We really enjoyed it. We went with the 7-course tasting menu. The amuse-bouches were spectacular. Five of them. Wow. The food was excellent for the most part. One fish course was bland. My wife's main dish had an undercooked piece of squash (it was... More

If you want to have a real high class culinary experience I really recommend you trying the restaurant. You need to be prepared with patience for at least two hours and 400 USD for a dinner of two.

Friday lunch is a Tasters' menu with a choice of a four course or more courses menu. You can do wine pairings or not as you choose. It's expensive and worth every penny of it.

There is a reason this is the #1 restaurant in Los Angeles. From the moment you walk in the door the service, ambience, food and attention to detail are superb. I have always done the tasting menu which is fine dining at its best. Be prepared to empty your wallet $$$$$$

One of my favorite restaurants in L.A. In the top of the top as far as "haute cuisine" or "fine dining goes" - it is elegant, creative, overwhelming, and fun. The energy here is a little more fun than most - maybe it's the food, maybe it's the atmosphere - but if feels like a fantastically-elegant party. Your date gets... More

Just perfection. We went with the Chef's Tasting Menu. Four little courses arrived before our dinner even began. I could not do justice to the plethora of adjectives needed to describe our meal. But it was the single best dining experience AND the most expensive of our lives!

A review of an upper tier restaurant dining experience is best considered in its parts- and each should be exceptional to attain a 5 star rating. After all, you will be parting with quite a bit of your hard earned cash, and it seems only reasonable to give the dining experience as much consideration as you might use for other... More

The first thing i asked when we entered the resto was : does Providence belong to the same restaurant group as The Greenhouse in Mayfair, London? The nice, cozy & intimate ambience plus the menu were similar. Even the style of serving, wherein the waiters intricately & expertly describe each dish ( ex: the butter is from Normandy. And the...
