My husband likes to come here often when in LA for business. I have reviewed it before. It is a wonderful restaurant. The ambiance is great (especially if you are seated away from the bar as we were). The music is not too loud which is rare in LA. The staff is probably the nicest staff at any restaurant in... More

No comments on food and service, both are excellent, however, it is definitely so fancy for an Osteria and the portions are of a fine dining Italian Ristorante, not sure why do they call it an Osteria.

Had high expectations for the "Michelin-starred" restaurant after reading great reviews. Unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations when I compare to a Michelin star restaurant in Italy, France or Scandinavia or even an average restaurant in Italy. Food lacked of elegance. I was really impressed by the wine list though, a lot Italian wines to choose from (expensive).... More

We had a great experience at Osteria Mozza. After some initial hiccups with our reservation we were assigned a table in the bar (which was a quite good seat after all). The ambiance of the place is great, the food was superb and quality price was Wine list is very good. All in all one of the best Italian restaurants... More

A Mario Batali restaurant on Melrose Avenue. Able to get a 6pm seating for five by calling last minute Fri afternoon. Great place for a date or small get together. Service was top notch. Must try dishes: grilled octopus, grilled beef tagliata, and ricotta and egg raviolo. For a cocktail, try the Gold Rush.

We went to Mozza on Melrose for a Sunday pizza lunch. The main room was full and we decided to opt for the back room instead of the bar seating. The small dinning/cellar dining room, surrounded by walls of bottles is cozy and comfortable. The service was nice. We started with a great cob salad and a light fried zucchini... More

Was in LA briefly and an old friend told me of this perfect little restaurant in Melrose. Sat at the bar and watched in amazement and awe of the care that they take in preparing everything. The staff was cleaning all of the greens and vegetables that go into the dishes by hand. By hand! Needless to say, everything ws... More

Little intro why I came here. Chefs table from Netflix, so if I see you there (list next year) I have a expectation, and compare you where I have been eating Central Lima. First thing first I wrote a email about reservations, never got a answer. Than I want to review nicely about your food, and staf. waiter on the... More
