My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Oh my gosh, a really good selection. My friend is vegetarian and I am off sugar and refined flours (I try my best...). This cafe has many grab and go options that are healthy choices and reasonably priced. They have gluten free and no flour options, vegetarian frittata and quiche, grilled paninis and burgers. The sandwiches are made with regular deli slices, so no gourmet there, but the prices are great- $8.50 for a sandwich and chips. Same price range for a burger and chips. I opted for a "handheld" which is a pasty in the UK. I figured I would have a couple bites of the crust and then just eat the filling. They had many options of pasties. I ordered Larry's Miner handheld. The crust was DEEE -vine. By Terry and melt in your mouth. Definitely not a healthy choice but oh so good. I only had a few bites but they were great. The filling was a bit sparse, so not extremely filling, but very tasty. The price was $7.50, so it was a good snack. My friend had a veggie frittata and she enjoyed it. Coffee was good. Atmosphere is great. They have chessboards and other games on the tables, Trivial Pursuit cards too. They have a a little reading nook. Outdoor seating available for those with dogs. They sell gourmet dog cookies and biscuits as well. I was truly impressed with this little gem. Definitely will stop by again.

You don't normally think bakery and Lotus (Gold Discovery Site) in the same thought, but with access to river rafting, wine country, great hiking, fishing and fruit/ vegetable stands, you might find yourself in the neighborhood.
If you do, you've gotta stop in here.
Really, really good pastries, breakfasts and lunches. The place is small and quaint and is actually a nice drive to an out of the way, destination with you and your sweetie.

Very quaint little restaurant and bakery which also carries homemade jam and such. They even have homemade dog biscuits! Did not try their quiche, but I'm sure it's delicious. The coffee is amazing. This place is right across the street from the Ponderosa RV park. Just a short walk and they are open at 6 am. Did someone say breakfast?

We love Sierra Rizing! Teal is an amazing pastry chef! She made our wedding cake in 2015 and it was delicious and stunning! We love stopping here on the weekend for brunch. The pastries and breakfast options are scrumptious. The staff is kind and efficient. Great customer service! We highly recommend them to all our friends and family.

Pastries were fresh and moist. Their quiche was the best I've ever had. Wanted to take some home, but the drive was too long

Teal did the catering for our wedding and it was perfect! Everything went according to plan and she even helped us plan around potential hiccups. Everyone kept raving about how good the food was! The homemade bread really was a crowd favorite! We were beyond happy we went with Teal!

Love the new changes made to the inside to streamline going in and out, making sure to establish safety during COVID and be open! Great pastries, fresh made breakfast and lunch items, and of course good coffee.

Fresh baked goods, great coffee, and friendly service. They also have a generator so they can stay open during the PG&E blackouts.

Reading the other reviews I must have been at a different bakery but I double-checked and, yes, I did eat there. You only need to take a look at my "Angus Roast Beef" sandwich to see why I wouldn't eat here again. I mean, it's luncheon meat, folks! And cheese. And nothing else. On a tiny square of panini bread.
My vegetarian friend got a grilled cheese, their only veggie option, and it was on the same, tiny bread. However, for an additional $.50 she got a "spread" of flavor and for another $.50 she got a piece of spinach (their so-called greens).
They charge $.50 to use a credit card, which they never mentioned, and you pay extra to "upgrade" from Lay's Potato Chips to a different brand.
Wasn't motivated to try their baked goods...
Super, super disappointed.

Their bakery items are out of this world wonderful. I ate Quiche and I never liked it before. I had Quiche three times while we were staying in the area. Scones were great too. They have inside or outside dining. We ate outside due to our puppies but it was very good. We had sandwiches and of course desert. No flour chocolate cake. Different breads banana, orange cranberry and others. It is well worth your time to visit them.

I have been here twice, and both times the patio area had some nicely shaded areas, tho when popular it can be difficult to find a seat in the shade. Can have a dog on the patio, which is nice, and the ordering goes quickly. I love the Mexican hot chocolate and the baked goodies are good. The gluten free peanut butter cookie is amazingly good, esp since I usually hate gluten free baked products. The pumpkin bread was tasty, moist which makes sense, as it seemed to be made with a lot of butter. Pleasant cashier, but beware, the use of credit cards to pay has an extra charge, which I sort of understand, tho most people are going cashless these days, but mostly it was just the fact that I was reading all the interesting signs while waiting and never saw the one warning you.
