The best part about this restaurant is its scenic location nestled in the hills of Malibu. My friends, Todd and Gavin, and I enjoyed a nice lunch in the bar area overlooking the main grounds below. We almost weren't seated, however, as the hostess at the entry below was not accommodating. When we arrived, she said, "We're not taking names... More

Came for a glass of sparkling at the bar on an overcast weekday with a friend visiting from out of town. It was pretty empty, probably cause the weather, but we had a nice time. This would be a great place in better weather, need to go back in the summer and check it out. Only complaint is the valet... More

The after party held at Malibu Café on Sunday was really nice this year. Great band with great music. Food was great and served really a nice presentation. They poured great wine. It was a pleasure to attend this year.

The place itself is very scenic. Outdoor grounds decorated for gatherings/parties The food was mediocre. My toast was so hard that I almost broke a crown. Soggy potatoes. Maybe lunch is better Valet parking was $9 for the hour and I recommend you not bring a nicely washed car because parking it's a dust bowl of dirt and the valet... More

Stayed at the ranch so ate here one night. Food was exceptional!! I enjoyed the ribs which were the best I've ever had!!! Will def come again! Great setting, brilliant for small and bigger kids with loads of games, connect four, jenga and chess all large scale! 11/10 for this little gem!!!!

We had dinner here in a group of 6 with 2 kids. They were constructing a new bar during dinner service which we had to ask them to stop several times as it was ruining the evening. It took several goes and in the end they gave us a bottle of wine - appreciate the gesture but it was not... More

Decided to spend time sight seeing through the mountains, nothing special in mind we came across this hidden gem, enjoyed lunch/wine over a couple of hours before we headed back to of hotel. Suggest weekends you would need to book.

I would give it FIVE STARS for the atmosphere alone. Which I feel is worth going for in and of itself. It's a super fun place to chill, have cocktails, play games and just relax. Great for big groups or small parties. And dogs are welcome! I dock it one star because the food is laughably terrible. I'm talking $20-$40... More

This is the best place for a fun brunch outing. Giant jenga, tic tac toe, photo ops, and so much more. We had the juevos rancheros and French toast. Both were very good and we polished off both plates.

Cafe M is the most exciting and wildly romantic dining destination in the Malibu Hills.
Located at the Crest of Malibu, off Kanan Rd. and Mulholland Dr. lies a unique restaurant and lounge with a Nouveau Barbeque menu that made Calamigos Ranch famous 4 generations ago, and keeps it breathtaking today.
Join them Thursday through Sunday from noon to midnight with an amazing al fresco lunch by their private lake, or join them for dinner on a candlelit patio overlooking the property, and stay for farm fresh cocktails under the stars with romantic lounge music, live jazz and blues under the stars!!
As the only dining destination on the Malibu Wine trail, come see what Malibu Vines can offer with the finest wine selections, and even tastings right at the restaurant. Bring a special someone, family, or just some friends and lounge on private cabanas, fluffy day beds, or get a private raft to sail the lake on.
