Someone told us this place had good breakfasts......they were right! I had a half size portion of an omelet served with hash browns and a pancake "as my toast". The portions are huge....and delicious! I took half of mine home. The restaurant is long and narrow with 3 tables at the rear and 1 at the front window. Service was... More

My husband and I came here for a nice breakfast. Food was great! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. We are very happy we tried this place. We will definitely be back!

My kind of place! Great breakfast, delicious homemade salsa. Small but very cozy and friendly. On the main street going out of town to Yosemite.

Holy cow! We thought we'd visit the Mangy Moose Cafe in Manteca since we have one in Priest River, Idaho. They put our mangy moose to shame! The food is reasonably priced. And the flavor? Oh emm gee! They absolutely take care of their guests and talk to you as if you are a regular. This place is amazing, you... More

Mangy Moose is a good place for breakfast. My son used to live a block away and ate here all the time, so I suppose you could call it a family tradition. The restaurant is long and narrow. There's enough room for a counter, a walkway and the space behind the counter. There is also a table or two in... More

Ok, the name was what attracted me... And the venue is a tiny shotgun room, counter, and three small tables, one in front, two behind wall in back... Parking is in back thru back door, or on the busy street out front... I'm still gonna go with a very good, because my brother, the birthday boy, thought the "Teton Special",... More

I came here for a daddy-daughter breakfast when the rest of the family was otherwise occupied. I don't do breakfast very often and wanted to try somewhere new. We came in through the back door and were lucky to get a table on a Saturday as the place was packed. The decor was fun with lots of interesting wall decorations... More

This place is hands down, the best breakfast spot. The staff is awesome, and very friendly, even when they are slammed. I have yet to have a bad meal. This is truly one of our favorite hidden gems of Manteca.

Went to restaurant based on reviews. The food is typical greasy spoon. Not any differnt than a dennys cafe. Nice service, friendly people. Very old and original interior. No reason to go unless your in the area. I would not go out of my way to drive to this restaurant.

We were traveling north and stopped for the night in Manteca, CA and were looking for something better than our crappy free hotel breakfast so we stopped here to meal up before hitting the road. Excellent atmosphere, charming local decor and a variety of breakfast fare to please any dietary need. I would eat here again.
