This is a small, but always overcrowded, restaurant in the main shopping mall near the water. It is part of a small chain of similar restaurants. Most of the time you will have to stand on line for a small table or a seat at the bar. The menu is quite simple: 3 choices of sushi and sashimi which differ... More

Been there many times. Never once have we been disappointed no matter what we order. Blue crab hand rolls are my absolute favorite.

The sushi here is very fresh. Its very packed and busy though and a bit too small. Waiting for a table is also tricky since there isn't much room at the front so if its cold you'll be most likely waiting in the cold till your table is ready

Love love the fresh and perfectly prepared sushi, crisp, fresh seaweed hand rolls, saki. UNAGI--Heaven! Even the rice is superior to any sushi joint I've ever been to. I'd give it 5 stars, but there are so many rules. They won't seat you unless your whole party is present. They don't have red wine. You can only buy a bottle... More

In the area for lunch and pulled this place off a YELP review. We got the only empty table at 1 PM on a friday so the locals seem to love this place. Warm greeting and quickly seated. Menu explained to us in good detail. Thought the selections were somewhat limited and the waiter was pushing what I would call... More

Had a great dinner at Sugarfish. The fish was fresh and delicious. We ordered the Nozawa menu, as well as a number of other dishes from the dinner menu and we were not disappointed. Will definitely try Sugarfish in NYC.

One of a chain. Very small interior and very popluar. A successful formula with price fix menus and include service charge

Been to a few branches around LA. Santa Monica and Brentwood the most but dropped by the outlet in the marina last time we were in Town. I suppose the best way to describe Sugarfish is that it is a good standard, reasonably priced and consistency at each branch and between all of them seems to be high. Think of... More

I love sushi, so I had high hopes for Sugarfish. We had difficulty getting in a few times, but we finally decided to wait it out (without a reservation, on a weekday). The restaurant is very cramped and there is barely any space to wait inside. We were able to order drinks while we were waiting, but I was a... More

Beware. This place will only seat parties when all guests have arrived. But then, if you try to join a party later, even if there is a chair available at the table THEY'LL REFUSE TO SERVE YOU!!!! It happened to me yesterday and I have vowed to never set foot on this place again. My wife and kid wanted to... More
