On the way to Yosemite Valley late at night found this restaurant that fitted us in close to their closing time. Ordered quickly a selection of dishes and I had a set meal of won tun soup, bbq pork rice, sweet and sour pork and a prawn dish. I didn't enjoy the pork dishes as seemed overcooked. Rest of the... While visiting the area we were looking for a Chinese restaurant to have dinner. We located this restaurant in a strip mall on Hwy 140. Not impressive from the outside but interior decorations were oriental on entry and gave you better feeling of what was to come. Slow season and not busy so service was fast and semi-friendly. Large menu... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the nearby Mining and Mineral Museum. I can’t say there was anything horribly wrong with it, but it provided some of the most uninspiring Chinese food I’ve ever eaten, flavorless and overcooked. I wish we had driven a block further into town, where a wider selection of restaurants awaited.

The food was very good, we had soup to begin with but the main. Course arrived before we finished. Reception was poor, we were put at a table with very poor lighting and we could not read the menu. We asked to be moved and we were without a problem. It wasn't the place to relax over an evening meal.... More

After seeing mixed reviews, we gave this place a shot and had an excellent experience. Restaurant is nicely decorated with fast service, good prices and tasty food. Portions are family sized. We had the beef and pepper plate, side of rice and beef noodle soup, and it was enough for 3 adults. Would recommend!

Good food but long wait, there is only one server available. But the food was actually worth the wait.

I'm a local resident and have eaten dinner at the China Station a few times. The first dinner was a party of four. We each ordered something different and shared. On this first visit, each selection was well-prepared. On a subsequent visit, party of two, we each ordered the same items - expecting to enjoy them - and were greatly... More

Stopped for dining in after returning from Yosemiti. Food is average but the customer service is terrible. The lady (probably the owner) was very rude. She pushed us to place an order in less than 1 minute telling it was a kitchen closing time and later found taking orders after an hour.. Never returned to check on us or refilled... More

After a long day of hiking in Yosemite, my son felt like Chinese. China Station wsa very near our hotel, so we stopped in. It was late for lunch and early for dinner, so we were literally the only customers in the place from about five minutes after we sat down. The food was not bad, but nothing special. The... More
