We had to drive another 8-10 miles it seems to find Tony's. It's in downtown Marshall on Tomales Bay further NW of Point Reyes. The drive was worth it. And in West Marin, the world moves slowly anyway. It's definitely rustic with a great view. Tho sunset was early that day and totally overcast, so we didn't get the picture... More

Finally stopped in here on New Years Day. Been driving past my whole life, and now I am sorry I did not ever stop sooner. Holy cow, some of the best clam chowder I have ever had! Creamy, smooth, chunks of potato, clams, but cut small so you get some in every bite. The velvety smoothness is rarely found in... More

This is not a fancy place but sits right on waters edge. There were 2 employees cleaning fresh crab in front of the entrance on this cold rainy Saturday afternoon. The waitress (wish I could remember her name!) an older woman was warm with sparkling eyes...reminding me how good life can be when I am happy. The Linguine & Clams... More

We stopped by Tony's Seafood on our drive to Nick's Cove. We ordered some BBQ Oysters, Clam Chowder, and Fish Tacos. The restaurant is cute and has a great view. The food was delicious. The chowder was creamy and flavorful. The Fish Tacos were fresh and the BBQ Oysters were delicious! The service was warm and friendly and I would... More

Whilst taking the scenic route from SF to Bodega Bay, we called off at Tony's for some lunch. The place is right on the Bay so you overlook some beautiful scenery whilst chewing down on some of the best seafood I've had. I had Fish Tacos ($15) and my wife had Crab Cakes ($19) - both amazing, fresh and incredibly... More

Dine inside or out in the casual waterfront stop along Tamales Bay. Bring cash (or use their ATM). Tip: There's a Wells Fargo ATM in Point Reyes Station about 15 minutes away. I'd avoid the salads and burgers and stick with what they're really known for - the oysters and local crab (when in season, starting late November usually). The... More

We had passed several oyster farms but found out we needed to have our own supplies so we settled on Tony's as a full service restaurant. We ordered bbq oysters, calamari and scallops. The oysters had a tomato/garlic sauce which disguised the flavor of the oysters. The calamari and scallops were sauteed in butter, wine and garlic and were quite... More

I thought any oysters in this area would be great but it is not. This restaurant is $$$$$ for the food they provide and totally not as expected. Fried oyster and raw oyster(so small) and the clam chowder is the worst i ever tried. Overall bad experience and required to pay cash!

Visited Tony's restaurant a Sunday in July on a one day trip up along highway 1 from San Francisco. Had grilled oysters with garlic tomato and white wine sauce. It was simply delicious. Got a glas of Napa Chardonnay white wine. Excellent service and fantastic view of the bay. Possible to sit either in door or outside. Tony's is third... More
