Good pizza, grrrreat ice cream! Small but lends itself to mixing with friendly patrons ...... kids were a delight when we were there.

A very unusual pizza restaurant that also specializes in ice cream. We found this on happy cow, looking for a vegan restaurant. The crust and sauce is already vegan and you can pick any toppings you want on the pizza. They also have a vegan cheese. The crust is thin and tasty. We had a vegan pizza with olives, spinach,... Ice cream was good as was the beer and wine. Dough was too doughy and bland. Pepperoni looked like what you'd fine on a frozen pizza. Best thing was the family dining area upstairs complete with kiddo toys and games.

Really enjoyed this place in Mendocino. Pizza was very good. Staff was pleasant. We were there over the 4th of July weekend, so it was pretty busy and you did have to wait in line to order. But overall they seemed to keep things moving. You can order by the slice or a whole pie. Ice cream is good also.... More

Frankie's Pizza has gluten/dairy free pizza. My oldest daughter and I sat and made Mmmmm noises as we ate real pizza...that we didn't have to make ourselves at home! Mmmmmm....ya we at it all. My husband and daughter (that does not have allergies) had the 3 meat pizza and thought that the crust was G-O-O-D! They also ate all of... More

It's small. Locals eat there. And the pizzas not bad either! That to me is a good sign! I gave it a 4 because we were unaware you could order by the slice.... Buy that's probably our fault. We were hungry!

In town for the 4th of July and was looking for a place to eat. Stumbled upon this place and the service and energy of this place was amazing, its a shame that it didn't come through in the food. We ordered the #7 which I believe was the pesto chicken pizza. The pizza was cold and the crust was... More

The pizza was made fresh, not bad for a small town pizza shop. People were friendly and helpful. Good option for families.

Whenever we visit Mendocino, we always try to make time to stop in at Frankie's for their delicious ice cream. They have a couple of unusual signature flavors I have not found anywhere else. They also have a great selection of pizza.
