My husband and I stopped by Parker-Lusseau while we were on vacation. We found there's not many early breakfast options in Monterey, and opted here because of the convenient hours. (The Parker-Lusseau closest to us actually opened later.) My favorite vacation breakfast is a pain au chocolat (it's vacation, why not indulge a bit?) and this bakery's was on point!... More

This beautiful little pastry shop makes killer macaroons (definitely get the Meyer lemon and pistachio) and makes a really good chai latte. The quiches are beautiful. I'll definitely try and go back to try one!

This is a wonderful eatery and bakery in downtown Monterrey. The food is exquisite. We ate there twice in our 3 day visit and bought food to take home when we departed. That's a real strong message. We loved the quiches, the almond croissant, and everything else we ate. Plenty of street parking but get there before the lunch rush.

It's eye-catching from the outside. I wasn't looking to stop here when I passed by... but had to once I saw the place. It's friendly, gorgeous, with beautifully rustic decor or if modern, it was well hidden by the beautiful pastries and candy delights that called my name from every angle. I almost don't want to share this place because... More

After buying some fish off the wharf to take back to the beach house we stopped at Parker-Lusseau to pick up some delicious pastries, sandwiches and baked goods to tide us over for a 4 day weekend. I bought some macarons and they were some of the best I have had in America. As well as half a dozen of... More

We have been trying for sometime to find pastries like we had in Paris, and this place comes so close we stopped there 2-days in a row. The Cafe Americano coffee is top notch, and the selections of pastries and sandwiches to go are great. Since they were closed on Sunday we purchased a lot of extras for the next... More

Stumbled upon this gem on one of our 1st trips to Monterey and make a point to have coffee & pastries every visit now. Good hot coffee, fresh pastries and very pleasant service.

This was a perfect stop for afternoon tea and pastries on our exploration of historic downtown Monterey. The pastries were wonderful - just the right amount of butter and sugar - different types for different tastes - buttery chocolate or hazelnut, macaroons, fruit tarts, caneles...We didn't try the croissants but they looked wonderful too!

Buttery flaky croissants du patissier, financier, kouigne aman, French macarons in pastel colors, seasonal treats like chocolate Easter eggs (they make large ones!!) They do serve sandwiches and soup, but the pastry is what draws me there. The beautiful eclairs and mini cakes, Napoleons, get a plate of treats, coffee, and sit down on the porch for a break from...
