I've been going to Monterey for 22 years and only recently found this place. The location is right at the end of the parking lot for Breakwater Cover/the Coastguard Pier and above a deli. The area is almost deserted at night as people wander from Fisherman's Wharf to Cannery Row and don't seem to know this place even exists. The... More

The restaurant has a nice location on the second floor at the breakwater. a few blocks away from the core tourist area, it tends to be uncrowded and quiet. The service was flawless and we were very pleased with our warm, friendly waitress. The atmosphere is subdued and there are excellent views of the harbor from the window tables. A... More

Two weeks in CA. Usually use TripAdvisor. Didn't tonite. Big mistake Stale cold bread. Bitter water. Sea bass was tough and dry. Calamari was dry and breaded We felt we were being 'sold to'. Not served And to top it off three ladies came in with their dog! And sat next to us. Ok but it took a liking to... More

We stopped by here for dinner after looking on TripAdvisor for some place different to eat. This place is definitely off the beaten path, but we're so glad we tried it. It's nothing exciting from the outside, but the inside was extremely nice and cozy. This is the kind of place you can be comfortable in jeans and tee, or... More

Stopped here completely randomly and I was very pleased with my meal. I had soup of the day and grilled snapper along with some nice local ale. Well worth it! Would visit again.

This is the second time I have dined here this year - in January with a group of girlfriends, and tonight with my hubby. This restaurant is off the beaten path, has a great view and offers fabulous fresh fish! Good service, too. Located upstairs, there is a restaurant side and a bar side. Linen tablecloths, warm lighting, and very... More

I've been here before as it is not in the tourist areas. It is on Coast Guard Wharf. We go in and got a table for 7 on a Friday night immediately. Staff was friendly and got our drink orders out promptly. The food is very good and almost got to much to eat. My only complaint was the vegetables... More
