Everytime we pass through Mount Shasta, we stop at Casa Ramos for good Mexican food. For years it has been consistently good and far better than the other Mexican restaurant on the other side of town. The tasty fresh salsa is excellent, several good Mexican beers on tap, and many well prepared items on the menu. My favorite is the... More

Well prepared, reasonably priced and fresh. The tortilla soup is an excellent choice full of avocado, chicken breast and savory broth. The guacamole was tasty and fresh. That is all we had in mid-afternoon as we were traveling through the area. We will go back!

We were traveling through on I-5 and very few restaurants were open for mid-day meal. Prices were very high for the quality of the food. We were the only patrons in at the time which should have told us something. We did have good service and the restaurant is nicely decorated.

Tasty Mexican food with some dishes you don't commonly see at Mexican restaurants. Several shrimp dishes, and they use Mexican cotija cheese, not just American or Jack cheese.

Inside of place has a nice Mexico feel to it and nice bar full of tequila. The server was really nice and respectful. The food was served on big plates and huge portions. The pork in the wet burrito was way to thick and chunky. The beans tasted like they came out of a MRE. Other then that the chips... More

My husband and I ate there over the Holiday weekend and had wonderful "street" tacos made with arracherra. They were very good and the margaritas were wonderful.

I admit it is difficult to give this place a 2 star rating with the large portions served - and perhaps I ordered the wrong dish. But the meal was overlooked and lacked flavor. I had the Camerones Monterey (shrimp wrapped in bacon and covered in cheese). I was feeling like seafood and this dish did not satisfy in any... More
