We were touring Mt Shasta. We had just strolled through the farmers market and found this place. Looked interesting so we gave it a try. We had soft tacos and margaritas. Enjoyed the meal, no complaints.

This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants! Most of the ingredients are all fresh and made from scratch. The tacos (all types) are my favorite, no match out there! Nacho's and burrito's are tasty!! I saw an earlier comparison to Chipotle...that's an unfair comparison, price wise. Chipotle is a chain and this is one single restaurant who does not... More

After a fun day exploring and hiking up to Castle Crags we stopped on the way back home in Mount Shasta and ate at Dos Geckos. The food that was being brought out to other tables looked awesome and we waited in anticipation for our own meals to come out of the kitchen. We sat outdoors under bright colorful umbrellas... My husband and I travel twice a year to Ashland, Oregon for the Shakespeare Festival. Our lunch stop is frequently Mount Shasta, along Hwy 5. We just happened to pick this little cafe for it's appealing outdoor seating. I had a shrimp ceviche and lemonade and my husband had a burrito and a beer. The food was beautifully presented and... Had fish tacos and a margarita, wife had a burrito and the 10 year old daughter had a kids taco. All were really good - the fish tacos especially so. Prices are a bit high so think about that before to sit down. Service was friendly and fairly quick.

Have been here before few years ago. We decided to go back since the restaurant we were going to eat closed before we arrived in town. The food was good and pretty well cooked, the chips and salsa were very good. Have a nice patio to eat on a nice sunny day.

The food here is really great. You have to wait a while but it is so worth it. Need to try if you are in Mount Shasta.

The fish tacos were great! These were made with a near-crispy corn tortilla, versus the fish tacos I had at Bay Grille at the Berkeley Marina. The sides of the tortilla folded perfectly over the fish and cabbage. The crispness of the tortilla kept the fish taco from falling apart and added a nice hearty flavor as well. I got... More

A great find! The burritos are huge and offer a wide selection of choices. I'm always partial to veggie burritos and I love twists on the standard. Cabbage with lettuce...inspiring!
