Just returned home from celebrating our 20th Anniversary in Napa. We made a reservation at Cole's based on the wonderful reviews - so happy that we did! We saw the great choices online - so we showed up hungry! lol Our meals were outstanding, we both started off with the warm baby spinach salad - wonderful. We split the Black... More
Passed this restaurant by chance on a bike ride early on Easter Sunday morning and decided to venture here later in the evening for our last night in Napa - so glad we did, the food is awesome, the wine list extensive and the service was faultless.
We were in the mood for a steak and heard this place was terrific. It was. We asked for a quiet, romantic table, and were seated upstairs. It was much less hectic and much quieter up there. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. The manager and maitre'd were also attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. The filet mignon and... More
Cole's is in one of the really old buildings in Napa. If you want a steak Cole's is were to go. Also a must is the hash browns. The mussels is a great starter and the wedge salad is the best.
On a business trip, found this place here on TA and glad drove the additional 20 miles from my hotel. On a Monday night, this place was packed... early. The two of us sat at the bar, where they served the entire menu. Within 15 minutes of arriving the bar area was standing room only. So, it's highly recommended to... More
The atmosphere here was great but they put way too much pepper on my steak. For $49 for the 10 ounce filet, I should have sent it back but I was already starving. If I ever went back there, I'd ask for light pepper. The sides are enough for at least 2 people and the hash browns were amazing.
We had a party of 10 eat here for a birthday and engagement party. The service was great, they had an amazing wine list and a sommelier helping pair the right wine with food. The sides were great but I was not very impressed with the filet, it did not compare with other nice steakhouses I've eaten at.
Wow...the service, food and cocktails..top notch. Finally had their famous hashbrowns....a real delight and enough to share with another couple. Went there on on rainy Wednesday and the place was packed! Best New York ever...Amen.
