This place was recommended to us unfortunately there was a motorbike rally on and the place was packet the server was rushed off her feet so although we waited a very long time we understood the food was actually really good I had a chicken and blue cheese salad and hubby beef skillet which he enjoyed.

This place has been our go-to place for years when in Needles, CA. You can't miss with their chicken fried steak and country gravy. The best coffee in the area. Truckers seem to like this place as well. An old restaurant with lots of eye candy and antiques adorning the walls and there is also a gift shop.

We ordered breakfast out and was very pleased to see huge helpings. The Denver Omelet was great and the biscuits and gravy, as well. No canned pre-made gravy here. Hash browns were just the right crunchy golden brown. Loved the decor... fits the Route 66 theme.

There aren't many choices in this area. This place was okay. Food is basic heavy American. Service was fine, and friendly.

I've eaten here over the years. The food is good, the place is clean, the service is good as well. When you take Highway 40 westbound through California, there isn't a reasonable stop until you get to Barstow. I've always found the place to satisfy my needs. The menu is fairly extensive, prices are within reason. It is not an... More

Well let's see . The service was great. It has pretty neat decor, all route 66 type stuff. The food was ok, not oh my God good , but ok. The prices were high. It was 33 dollars for lunch for 2. So I guess that's the long and the short of it.

This is a really good restaurant! There were three people in our group, and each of us really enjoyed our meals! The service was great, the food was fantastic and there are a ton of items on the menu. I would definitely go back to the restaurant when I am back in the area.

Great atmosphere and food. Serves breakfast all day; who doesn't love that?! They have funny books at every table, seat yourself. I've been here three times (every time I've been in the area) and it's never disappointed.
