Recently had lunch with friends here. The service and the food was really quite good, Warning - it is a local watering hole and is rather dark inside. But, don't let that put you off from trying their lunch menu. It is worth a try.

After a long day at the river, we were hungry but didn’t want to cook or go to a sit down dinner. The BF went to get take out, we were both craving burgers and Crazy Horse had the Salmon burger which I could eat (I don’t eat beef). It was amazing, the bun was super fresh and soft and... More

The Crazy Horse has been a local watering hole for decades although it closed for a few years and became a yogurt joint! This is where I first heard blues in Nevada City and one can still hear quality music several times a month. I mostly go for the beer or music. Great bands have passed through here, Nick Moss,... My wife and I were making a Friday happy hour stroll through Nevada City and decided to make The Crazy Horse our first stop. We thought the prices for IPA beers and a dirty martini were fair and we both enjoyed our apps. I had the hot wings (which were solid, but not great) and my wife ordered the spinach... More

We came out to watch the college football championship game. There were a good number of smaller TVs, but they also have a big screen with a couch in front of it. I was expecting the typical poor resolution, but this one must have a HD projector. It was noisy like a bar although this is to be expected. Food... More

Crazy Horse is a great place to have lunch and a cold beer. Taco Tuesday is a real treat and don't forget happy hour. Every Friday and Saturday night they have great live music.

We love going to Nevada City, Ca. We also love going to the Crazy Horse to eat. Today being the day after Thanksgiving they were slammed with business. We weren't in a rush but felt sorry for the staff. Took a bit to get out drinks and ordered the food at the same time. The waitress was very nice and... More

This can be a wild bar scene at night sometimes which is fun During the day it's more subdued and the burgers there are super tasty and made from locally sourced grass fed beef. That's important to me!
