The look and feel is nowhere close to a Greek restaurant. The place itself looks like a restaurant, but it's basically run like a pub. If you are after something fast to eat, then it may well meet your expectations. On the other side, if you are expecting to have a dinner in a restaurant, with proper waiters, service and... More

Can't say a bad thing about this place. Go here when I crave their yummy gyros. Service and prices are reasonable. They offer beer and wine. Also their hummus is awesome and the pita bread they give is the best

Nice atmosphere, seating, and staff. The menu was full of many of the traditional Greek meals, all reasonably priced. We ordered traditional Lamb (and beef) Gyros and a Greek salad. It was so filling I couldn't eat it all and it tasted great! Just the right amount of tzatziki sauce on the Gyro and olive oil on the salad. I... More

I've been here quite a few times now. We live near the Hoag, so we often take walks to Akropolis and have a meal there. We really love this place, but everytime we try to share it, the food is not so great. When we go, the meat is very fresh and juicy, but when we bring family, it's dry... More

Not a fan of this place. The last time my girlfriend and I went here, it was over a half hour til closing, but they said they were already closed. It's the kind of typical restaurant that's apparently filled with lazy employees who will cut corners whenever they think no one's looking. Every other restaurant we've been to who's done... More

If you have finished walking the beach and are looking for a nice lunch spot to renew your energy - this is a nice place to consider. As other reviewers have noted - the staff is super friendly and responsive. In addition, there is usually a lunch special. I selected the gyro plate, normally $13.95 and it was on special... More
