We picked this restaurant off Trip Adviser while driving through the area. What a great find! No wonder they are celebrating 50 years. Fabulous food and service. Highly recommend!

Stopped in here for lunch while on a business trip. Friendly place with all your favorite Mexican dishes. Nice bar, too. Ordered the carne asada with shrimp, exactly as expected. Warm tortillas on the side are a nice touch.

Nothing fancy. You can be dressed in attire at this beach close Mexican restaurant. Food is good, generous and restaurant has been family owned and run for 50 years. All their locations are great. Good service as well.
Best spot in the Newport Beach bar district on the Peninsula. Great drinks, Amazing food, always a bit crowded. Make sure to make reservations!!!
Food was very flavorful and service was very good. If you have any dietary needs, you need to be clear about those needs.
Avila's Newport Beach has good food, service and atmosphere. We had a largish (8) party for my birthday and they took care of us wonderfully.
The restaurant was noisy and crowded (it was a Saturday night). The staff were efficient, but hurried. The food was okay, but certainly not exceptional.
