Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Brown Sugar Kitchen. It can get busy there and sometimes there's a wait, but we were seated right away. The service was very warm and friendly and we ordered the beignets which were delish. Everyone has to try the waffles...More

This place is entirely overhyped and to expensive for what you get. I so much wanted to like this place that I gave it 3 tries and each time I was disappointed. The owner has been on many cooking tv shows and she’s like a...More

Gumbo with cheese grits is my favorite. Always feels like coming back to a familiar spot. When I haven't visited for a while I always see freinds and family. Food is consistent and good.

One of our favorite places for breakfast, Chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits both on point. The problem is their popularity and the small space. Looking forward to an expansion location if the keep the same menu..

The food is wow too. Spiced just right, crunchy when needed, and not greasy. Good service, chill crowd. Have to come back!

I love support black owned restaurants so this was. treat. The rest was clean and very busy. I loved my Jerk Chicken meal even though it as not too spicy. The Cornbread was great. I would go back here again.

Went here based on a recommendation.... I would still recommend it, just be aware that the service sucks. I had to remind the waiter 3x to bring my water, the greater seemed to hate his job, but even worse he didn’t worry that his face...More
