Small and quaint, I had some amazing raspberry pancakes here! They have flavored mimosas for days (regular, blood orange, raspberry, peach bellinis) as well as an espresso machine for cappuccino, lattes, etc. The food was good - they've got all your regulars along with some specials and some things I've never seen in an omelet before (ground beef?). The bill... More

On a holiday week day we stopped in for breakfast. We were quickly seated. We were all happy with our food choices. The Chicken Fried Steak was very good served with Eggs, potatoes, and toast. The servers were very attentive and helpful. We will mark this as a great place to return to.

We had lunch, I love the vintage decoration, the food was classic & the server was great. You can stop there, no problem.

The cafe has been in the original family for 40 years. Very attentive staff, and the food is above average. My fruit cup was full of variety and beautifully presented. Many locals were there in the AM.

We were looking for a place for breakfast and as we drove down Lighthouse and passed this restaurant it shouted "local". What a delightful experience. The owner has been there for 44 years and knew nearly everyone there. Hugs and hellos to all and after having breakfast there all three days we visited we felt like a 'local' also.

We paid the price of a good restaurant, and the food was horrible. Clam chowder was like paste, calamari steak seemed like it was cooked in very old oil (I had the same dish the night before in Monterey and it was excellent), and the wines by the glass were expensive in price and tasted like super cheap wine that... Ate here for the first time on a drizzly Saturday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed omelettes - the Joe's and the tostada. The side of hashed-brown potatoes were great. A good meal at a good price. We'll be back.

We managed to have breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was great. I had the chorizo scramble which was excellent. Hubby had eggs benedict, which were fabulous. Dinner was lobster ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs, both of which were great. Atmosphere is fabulous as it really in an old Victorian. Service was discrete but excellent.

We did something totally different this time while visiting this restaurant, always one of our faves. We just had soup and bread for dinner and it was . . . . AWESOME. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed as we always do as they make you feel like the world is somewhere else.
