First off, the hostess looked 13 years old, was on the phone for probably 3 min so I went in the small bar and found a table. There was some loud foul mouthed local acting like an idiot and I found the hostess who had absolutely no personality and I asked to seat me at a table. Maybe because I... More

Went for an early evening casual meal and was not disappointed. Reputed to be the best Mexican restaurant in Palm Desert for a reason. The tortilla soup was tasty and colourful with no lack of chicken. The service was friendly. The fajitas were hot and yummy and the basic margarita was extremely good. All in all just what we were... Food is good and we find the adult beverages to be generous pours and very tasty. One might ask the bartender to use a light hand when pouring tequila!

Wow by far the best Mexican type food in the area. The staff is always great and they always remember you, returned after 8 months and they recognized me and treated us like we were family. The food is fast and very flavourful.

Took some Elk friends here after the State Convention. Told them how good the food was and they were not disappointed. The Margarita's were to die for. Some smooth and full bodied. The food arrive all at the same time (there were 8 of us) and was all hot and steaming. The taco's were crispy, the beans flavorful and the... More

Ate dinner here with the family. The food was very tasty and there were some different items on the menu than most Mexican food restaurants. Service was friendly and quick. It was noisy but that is typical of most casual dining restaurants.

If this is the top Mexican restaurant in Palm Desert, there's a problem. The food was very average. I had the carnitas fajitas and the meat wasn't tender and WAY too many onions....I've had MUCH better Mexican at little joints all over California.

This was our last night in Palm Desert, and the #1 Mexican restaurant review on TA pointed us to Fresh Agave. Disappointment #1: On a beautiful sunny evening, we sat in this dark, cavern like, no frills dining establishment. #2 House Margarita ($8.50) worst I've ever had anywhere. Chips & salsa, just okay. Shrimp enchiladas and fish tacos, sub-par and... More

Busy Mexican restaurant. Lots of good selections. Service is good. House margaritas are very good but strong. Chili Relanos is a good choice not too spicy.
