At the P.S. Tramway Mountain Station, located at top of the tram, at 8516-feet above sea-level, is the multi-level Peaks Restaurant, which offers great views of the valley below [we had a nice table on the windows overlooking the valley lights] .and a contemporary menu which is fairly limited but does offer some good choices – no gluten free items... Delicious Bloody Mary's. The food was just ok, but the waitstaff was very fast and friendly. The VIEW! WORTH every cent.

Wow factor! My husband & I took the Aerial Tramway to the Mountain Station restaurant "PEAKS". We enjoyed our Greek salad, tomato soup , hummus & pita appetizer. ($37 with tax). I was surprised at the quality of the food, as it must be a challenge to bring food to this mountain top restaurant. The mountain water was so clean... More

We attempted to make a reservation however, the phones were down due to a lightening strike a few days earlier. Waited 25 minutes at 2:30 in the afternoon, not bad. So my husband and I shared a spinach salad which was huge but delicious, then he a BBQ hamburger and I a Cheeseburger, both seriously delicious and cooked perfectly. The... More

Went to the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Great afternoon in the state park! Had lunch at Peaks. Had seen the meh reviews but it was convenient and the grab n go cafeteria had nothing we wanted so we got a table at Peaks. Couldn't get a window table but it didn't matter; all tables have the same... More

The pasta parisien was excellent, the cheddar burger was OK, the fries were overcooked, dry and tasteless, service slow - but hey, there's no where to rush to anyway.

You are paying for the location. The food is palatable at best and the service is decent. We arrived and the restaurant does not look like it has been updated in 40+ years. I contacted the restaurant multiple times in advance to advise them that it was our anniversary. they did not recall and I had to get up awkwardly... More

My wife and I decided to eat here only because the only other food option at the top of the tramway was extremely busy and there were no tables available. So we decided to eat at Peaks knowing that it would be at least twice as expensive. We were seated quickly and our waiter brought out our drinks and gave... More

At 8500 feet above sea level, the Peaks Restaurant has a view of the valley that no one else can claim. It was a nice, romantic spot to share a decent meal with someone special. I would have rated it higher, but our experience was not "perfect." First, our waiter seemed a bit annoyed that we were not ready to... More
