This was hands-down our favorite meal in Palm Springs. We love good, authentic Mexican food, not loaded with cheese or oil. This did not disappoint and may have been my favorite Mexican restaurant ever. We went to the El Mirasol that is at 266 E Vía Altamira, Palm Springs, CA 92262. Not in the touristy city-center, but worth walking a... More

Arrived from Canada and had forgotten how good this place was. Outstanding shrimp and spinach carnitas and margaritas. A must stop for good quality food and atmosphere.

This is my favorite place to go in Palm Springs. It isn't fancy but the food and drinks are fantastic. If you go, do yourself a favor. Order from their house specialties and save the traditional enchiladas and tacos for some where else. Those are hard things to make stand out. What El Mirasol does amazingly well, are speciality sauces... More

We go here every Friday night. Great food, great Margarita (Cadillac) and a great staff. It's more of a loca place. One in a while the owner will make Green Mole and that's is so delicious, It does get crowned, during the season, on Friday but it's not to long of a wait. They have two restaurants one on Indian... Dropped in after a day trip kind of early, so it was easy to get in and served. The service was good. Margarita's were very good. Overall food was good, but we had common dishes and nothing stood out beyond what I've experienced at some other good Mexican restaurants. Priced well for the area and would return if there in... We have dined at the El Mirasol and the El Mirassol at the Los Arboles Hotel. Both are managed by the same folks and the food is perfect in portions, pricing and service. Both restaurants run a little lean on wait staff, so be patient and enjoy your first beverage. The El Mirasol on Palm Canyon is more traditional in... More

Well, we received a gift certificate for dinner to El Mirasol, and, after being recommended by locals, we had high hopes. We started with the house margarita which was strong enough, but not nearly as flavorful as it might bel Not sure if it was really cheap tequila or the mix was off. The chips were okay, but the salsa... More

Friends had raved about Mirasol so I finally decided to give it a try. Usually you can tell right from the start, when the chips and salsa are dropped what you're in for. DELICIOUS. Everything was homemade, beyond fresh, perfect flavors and one of the best hot sauces I've ever had. I ordered a vegetable burrito, added chicken and a... More

So far this is the best Mexican food I've eaten in the Palm Springs area. I've been their twice now Eat the carnitas they're the best thing on the menu. The last time I ate there my friends and I had the combination plates. We all had carnitas with either the carne asada or the carne adobadas. Eat the carnitas.... More
