Enjoyed the meal but not the table which was in the enclosed section near the entrance so patron and wait staff traffic was annoying. Will go back and try the space heater heated patio area!

If you want to eat here, book early. They seat you according to how long ago you booked your reservation. That said, we had a fabulous dinner. We had the prix fixe 3 course meal. The beet salad was delicious as was the lobster bisque. The salmon and filet were prepared perfectly. The coconut cake and marble cake were huge,... More
Good deviled eggs. Meat loaf and vegetables were excellent. Service was fine. Ambience was OK. Some items seem over priced.
Went here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and we really enjoyed the space, the vibrant crowd and the food. Good Bloody Mary's as well as a smart wine list. The outdoor space is very cute. We had good service and good people watching. For entrees we had the Lobster Roll and the Turkey BLTA. Both very good.... More
Had dinner Saturday night of Modernism week. Seated on patio. Noticed immediately that the noise level was high. Good assortment of cocktail choices. Had the New York steak which was delicious. Initial service was a bit slow but once our server Lorena engaged it improved substantially. Recommend this place.
We have been going to Jakes since it opened several years ago. In general, we are very happy with our experiences there. Palm Springs is a tourist destination, with it becoming more popular every year, especially during season & events like BNP Tennis, Coachella, Stagecoach, PS film Fest, Modernism Week etc. It is during these heavy tourist times that I... Visited for Valentine's Day lunch..Friendly and attentive service. Large, varied menus and generous cocktails. Our choices were delicious. The piece of cake ordered for desert was big enough for four.
Jake's is a hot spot in Palm Springs and for good reason. Sure you have to wait but the weather is usually great and waiting fifteen minutes is worth it as the payoff is a great meal with great service.
Sat on the outdoor patio so great for people watching. Had the scallops and friends had the meat loaf and macaroni and cheese. Delicious cakes choices for dessert. Had to take that home for later. Really, really good. The service was excellent and servers friendly and knowledgeable.
Dined for brunch with a reservation on a Saturday. Place was full and had a fun energetic vibe. Sat outside on patio. Had the best eggs benedict i've ever eaten. Attentive servers even with the full house. Would definitely go again. Weekends, reservations seem to be a must.
